March Crappie-ness
Over the weekend, I had the chance to head north with a few buddies. We were going to stay at a cabin on Namakan, portage in by snowmobiles and try to catch a few crappies.
We got up early Saturday morning and headed out to the spot. The wind was strong and it was a little chilly, we graphed a few fish suspended high in the water column with the fishing being steady throughout the morning and early afternoon.
We iced around 25 fish with 5 being in the 13-15" range! It was a fun day to be on the ice with good friends.
March is an awesome time to get out and enjoy the weather and the great fishing it has to offer.
