Fall Family Fun

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. The beautiful colors and the cool air make for a great time to be in the woods. An opportunity to teach the youngsters about the outdoors is a perfect excuse to spend the day together.

Teaching my 10 year old firearms safety and getting the opportunity to get a few grouse for the table was the key objective for the day. Bonus to the day, a lunch cooked on an open fire. Teaching the kids how to make it and put it out, makes for some all-out great family fun.

Teach them young, these memories will last a lifetime and call them to the water, woods like it does to me.
